Dump Valve Access?

I'm a newbie to the S3 world and I have a 2009 sportback in white with black panoramic roof - pics to follow!

Can someone confirm that the only way to access and change the existing DV is from underneath the car on the drivers side?

I'm used to Scoobies where you can change the DV in 5 minutes from just lifting the bonnet!

S3 is at the top.. Front right of the engine bay.. Its the 2.0T K03 engine thats at the bottom.. S3s is real easy to access..

That's a Forge DV,but the siting is the same.
