Hi all,

Was playing about with my Navi system and climate control today....put everything back together...noticed that the climate control fuse had blown :/ Now when I attempt to start the car nothing happens...it doesnt even crank. The Navi system acts as if it has no power coming to it....the DIS is displaying a yellow battery symbol....

When I attempt to start the car all power goes off an nothing happens....ran a Vagcom and got the following...any ideas?

EDIT: I should mention that the car seems to take a while to crank before today....

Hmmm I thought so too however that doesn't explain why the climate control fuse blew?

I tried an old battery that I have (which was working fine a few months ago) and the same thing happens

Right just checked the battery...reading 9.5V so yup dead...however the other battery that I tried was readings 12.47V which seems okay (however it is a tiny tiny battery) and the car still doesn't crank....the fact that the climate control fuse went makes me think something has short circuited?

Right turns out it was the stupid battery.....stuck a new one in changed the climate fuse...all good :)
