Is there anyone on the forum that has done this. I tried to do it earlier and could I squeeze the thermostat through the top rad pipe, no!! It's nails!! Lol. Anyone that has done this your help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried with the Renault 5 and a couple of others and couldn't get it to go.

I have no idea what he'll charge now, but mine is still fitted to the saloon.
The only problem I had was when I changed the timing belt it also did the OE 'stat which made filling the cooling system took a little thought with two 'stats running!
