Hello all,

I bought a 2011 S-Line 170 TDI A3 back in December. It had all the normal options and a few extras like park assist and start stop, quite high spec.....I've done a lot car builds in the past, but the A3 was my attempt at being sensible and ending that...It worked for a week or so :p. Although it is a lot more tame than the previous ones :).

So here is how it was when I picked it up:

I couldn't leave it alone, so over the last two months I've done:

Bi-xenon retrofit with auto levelers.
RNS-E retrofit.
Heated seat elements installed into the seats and Audi Q3 climate panel.
Puddle lights.
Door warning lights.
Front and rear footwell lights.
Front dome light with map lights.
Rear map lights.
Illuminated door handles.
T8ups LEDs.
Rear shades.
Flat bottom steering wheel.
S3 Aluminium pedals.
Audi Exclusive leather parts.
Removed the ashtray for the cubby with light.
20mm rear spacers.
De-badged rear.

Now it looks more or less like this. Still a few Exclusive leather bits to fit (Roof grab handles, sun visors and door handles), will get those in this month.

It's nearly there aesthetics wise. Performance is next .

Very tidy car dude! :thumbs up:

I really dig the leather trim. Every time I see it, I want to order some for my car.

Cheers :) - Yeah, it really does make the interior feel quality, I'd recommend them. Cant wait to get the rest in now :).

I had a normal heated seat HVAC panel for a week or so before switching to the Q3 panel. It looks a lot nicer with the OLED screen and easier to use heated seat controls. Possibly my favorite upgrade so far!

I like the Q3 HVAC panel! Was it plug and play? Heated seat controls look much better.

It mounts in the same way and the plugs are the same, so its plug and play from that aspect. All you need to do it trim 2-3mm off either side of the facia as it is wider than the A3 unit. I used a belt sander for this :thumbs up:.

Cool. Did you get it directly from Audi? Was it expensive?

That arm rest lid and those grab handles - are they genuine Audi parts or have you had them trimmed in leather?

All new genuine RS3 parts, they were optional extras on the RS3. I've gone for the knee rests, arm rest, hand brake handle, door rests/handles, sun visors and roof grab handles. (Waiting for the last 3 to arrive).

Might fit an S3 gear gaiter so that matches also..Undecided as yet.

Awesome work it looks tidy!

If I can be so cheeky would you mind posting the parts numbers and approximate prices if you have them/can remember them?

I am interested in the blinds you fitted. Do you have a link for them.
