got a wee problem with my 240k diesel turbo

It is spitting oil down the air pipes to the intercooler and now that is filling up with oil and is dripping to the floor when parked

the question is :- Is there a simple repair for it or is it time to replace

some oil leaking into the intake is normal, but how much is in there? If its leaking out somethings not tight.

Have you checked the turbo shaft for play?

Really does sound like is in need of a overhaul. Is no simple fix no. Needs dismantling and checking by a professional. Could be cheapish fix all depending.

Davy as Kev says oil in the pipes is normal it just depends on how much oil. check the pipes are all tight as it shouldnt be dripping out if the pipes are tight. are you sure you don't have a leak from elsewhere?
I wouldn't say you're car is smokey when running which is normally a sign of the turbo seals going.
again as kev says check the turbo shaft for play.

Yeah a quick visual will confirm but does sound like my own TDI turbo issue i had before Christmas. To be FILLING up with oil sounds like seals/wear

Watch it runaway when it sucks the oil that collected into the intercooler !
