Two simple questions

1) I'm fitting a new window regulator cable to my S3 today, does the subframe need removing from the door?

2) I've developed a boost leak. Losing 1 bar of boost. Is there a particular hose that is more common than any other to go before i start stripping it all down to inspect?

I've not got a massive amount of experience on k04 cars but if i was looking the first 2 areas i would check would be the pcv pipes under the inlet mani but dont think that would cause that much of a leak and im pretty sure i've seen someone mention a hose that commonly pops off, think it may be on one of the intercoolers but thats stabbing in the dark tbh. a smoke test would be your best bet

Where is the best place to get 'smoke' from, i dont have a smoke machine kicking around. lol

The electric window repair kit was ****. Cable tension is either far too tight, or too loose.
