sympathy 2 sterio with I pod conection

Hi I've just bought the mrs a 56 plate a3 tdi. It has the sympathy 2 sterio (tape deck with built in 6 cd changer) in the glove box is what looks like a slot for an I pod with an I pod connection at the bottom. Can someone tell me what setting or button I need to press on the sterio for the I pod source? Thanks

Hit the cd button twice. Should go into aux mode and play your iPod

Yere that's the one lol. It seams a good unit to be honest, sound quality wise. It has the bose upgrade. Can I change it for any of the other standard audi sterios? Or do they have to be bose compatable?

You can change it I think. Bose is all about external amps

Just noticed it's an 8p. Slam and rnse in it. They sound great with the Bose. You could also pick up a symphony 2+ which is wha the wife has which in a in built dash 6 Cd changer which plays mp3s

No point going to that effort and not going for RNS-E

PM @NHN and he can give u a quote supply and fit

That means later on your can add Bluetooth if you don't already have it, optical parking etc

It gives you CD as well as 2x SD card slots
