Hey guys, ive fitted my footwell lights but they seem to go out really quickly. Approx 5 seconds.

Is there a way to make them stay on for longer?

Thanks

as it's LED it draws much less power than a normal bulb and because of this the car doesn't think there is a bulb there and is shutting off the power which is why it's going off after a few seconds.
The best way around it is to contact Trups who is another sponsor here who can supply you with proper LED footwell panels that are compatible with our Audi's and won't turn them self off
(Sorry for the bad news dude)

Thanks ash

Do you have the part number for the light units? I bought mine that came standard as led so I'm assuming these led are not good.

Can I put resisters in?

It's not a part number as it's not something that comes from factory. Factory bulbs are yellow, they prob have the eBay special leds in there.
Speak to trups who will send you good working leds.
You could use resistors if you can figure out what one to use to trick the car

Ok cheers Ash. I might try adding a 501 standard bulb in there and the led and see what happens. Would that work?
