S3 Electric Seat - Height Adjustment Not Working

Okay, so was in traffic and played about with the height of the seat, and now it's too low!

Problem, you think not, apart from the fact that the heaters in the seats are working as is the lumbar support and the back move-back-forwards bit (don't know the techie term!), but not the height adjustment.

Anyone with any ideas or experience of this stopping working? Any ideas/help/advice appreciated!

well, if it went down OK, thats the same motor that raises it too.

my guess would be the switch has gone - quite common.

Oh cool, a bit of a relief, checked the fuses and the fact everything else is working, you're probably right!

Easy to replace? What d'ya reckon?

Happened to mine and it was'nt the switch or it was. My seat went up and didnt come back down.

Basically the electrician sorted the earth wire out and it started working again. So could be a cheap fix or a new switch... try the earth 1st.
