A3 Brushed Aluminium Oxidisation

I am in the process of purchasing a 2008 A3 convertible S-Line model.

I noticed that the brushed aluminium trim surrounding the gear stick has little veins of oxidisation on it.

Is there any way to clean these from the trim without ruining the brushed finish?
