Cassette player removal and upgrade

Just got a A3 Sline with a cassette player and cd palyer, i want to change this for a later CD only unit, is this easy to do regarding removal and are the connections the same??anyone done this???

The one thats in is the one with the CD Player and cassette, not sure which later ones would fit tbh
I want one with just the CD player if the connections are the same
