Anti-roll bar squeaks

I've got a squeak from the front passenger side wheel when going over bumps. The dealer tells me that the rubber bush the anti-roll bar is attached to is split, caused by corrosion of the arb, which has expanded.
The worst bit is that they say I need to replace the whole arb together with the rubber bushes, because of the corrosion. Any ideas whether the corrosion can be removed and treated instead of replacing the whole thing, because the dealer is asking £428 for the whole job. Apparently they need to drop the subframe in order to do this (2.5 hours labour)

Any suggestions peps?

how many miles has yrs done?

yes, unfortunately the front sub-frame has to be dropped to fit a new front ARB.

It's all nuts and bolts though, so i wouldn't pay a dealer to do it, nor would i replace with OEM parts after reading discussions on here either.

The car has only done 43k miles. It's getting near 5 years old though.

I was surprised how much the whole thing costs. They tell me that the drop links need replacing too as the ball joints have worn which are causing squeaks as well.

So should I replace with oem or go for a set of Eibach arbs?
