Hi, new boy here so please bare with me... I have a Audi A4 DTM with parking sensor issue, when I put it into reverse I hear the loud beep for a few seconds but no beeping whilst reversing. I've checked all 4 rear sensors listening to the ticks and they all tick, fronts 4 all tick except for 1 of the sensors but still work as the should do. Both the front and rear buzzers work and 7 out of 8 sensors all make the ticking noise am I right in thinking maybe the parking sensor control box located LHS of the boot is knackered or is it an issue where the car has to be plugged into a computer to rectify the fault.. Any help would be great

You need to stick vagcom on to check for faults if its a genuine Audi parking system and not an after market kit, failing that it's a case of fit a part and see, which could end up expensive. I'm in Leeds if your anywhere near and you want vagcom plugging in.
hi, spoke to a specialist regarding my parking sensor issue and they told me if 1 sensor doesn't work the whole system doesn't work so i ordered 1 through eBay for only £15.00 and it has lifetime warrenty, fitted it today and problem solved both front and rear parking sensors work exactly as they should without the need to plug into VAGCOM saving £££££'s..
