DSG gear selector change?

Hi,
I've now got an A3 3.2 dsg and I'm not a fan of the gear selector, i much prefer that of the R32 or gti golfs.

is it possible to swap these over?

Not sure if the r32 or gti one will fit

but you can change it over to a S3, RS, S-Tronic gear knob

Does require some modification however, have a look here:

The button on the gear shifter in the a3 is on the side, r32, gti, s3, stronic shifters is on the front.
Requires heating up a plastic lever and twisting it.

Been wanting to have a go, done a lot of research into it but still not feeling brave enough to try it
