Hi my car seems to be eating drive belts. I had to replace the pas pump, and since then ive been through 3 belts. Im now going to replcae the tensioner and alternator clutch pulley to hopefully cure the problem.
I have a query regarding my pas pulley. the belt is getting pinched on it and believe it is where the belt starts to break. there are no funny noise from the power steering so believe the pump itself is good. I do get a whine at higher rpm, but think its the clutch pulley, that im going to replace.

thanks ant

does this pulley look correct?

Doesn't look right to me. Almost as if the entire outer lip has been squashed over causing the belt not to sit right on the pulley.

That is the part number for the pulley you need.

so today ive stripped the belt, tensioner and pas pulley of to replace at the weekend.

my pulley has the correct part number! but the belt doesnt sit on it nicely at all!. really not sure whats going on now.
