A3 S Line remap

Just picked up my 2.0 140 s line today and love it! Have the gloss black rs3 grill arriving tomorrow, as not too keen on the chrome grill, new tyres beinf fitted tomorrow and then hopefully later in the week I'll be getting it remapped, but have a question....

I read about a dpf? Not sure what it even is or weather my 2009 car would have it? Does that make a difference to the remap and how it's done?

Sorry for the daft question just unsure and only owned the car for 4 hours

Tbh your mapper should be answering any questions but yes the DPF will effect the map.

If budget allows I would remove it and have it coded out at same time to avoid future issues

So is that quite easy to remove then? Wasn't even sure what dpf was.

Will speak to the guy as only spoke to him previously about a possible remap as didn't even have the car yet so will have a word and get it booked in I think.

dpf is part of your exhaust mate so it will need replacing

How much is that likely to add onto the price?

Is the car still worth a remap even if I leave it?

Haven't had the car 24hrs yet but had the tyres done as the others were bald and feels loads better to drive. Very happy with the car!
