How hard is it to fit a milltek cat back to standard downpipe (a3 quattro 2.0tfsi) what do i need to do it? Equipment wise

Not sure about the join, but when I did turbo back, all you need is a socket set and a big-old flathead screwdriver. IIRC, (somebody might correct me) cat-back is straightforward as no shaft removal and you are just fixing it to the downpipe via nut/clasp thing.
The hardest bit is getting things in/out of the rubbers for the exhaust mounts.

Just make sure you go as high as you can on your stands so you have plenty of room.

Is the cat back cut and joint or does it fit into some sort of socket on the standard downpipe?

Exhaust mounts: plenty of fairy liquid and, if you have one a bottle jack on the exhaust to push it up to the bracket will make it much easier :)

Do you need any releasing fluid or high temperature sealant?
