Hi guys having a nightmare with my S3 I just bought.

Its just gone and had a new fly wheel and clutch Sachs kit, but they think I might have play in my input/output shaft (can't remember which one) and that might be why my pedals bite is staying close to the floor after hard acceleration in first gear??

does this sound right?? As in any other gear it's fine just first gear it seems to happen?

cheers guys

Something's wrong there.

I had a Sachs setup on mine for a few yrs,and it never felt like that,so something needs adjusting.

My Sachs kit I fitted about 1500 miles ago and the bite point is about 2 or 3" from the top.
Hot or cold no matter how I drive.

First thing i'd question is have they bled the clutch properly, if not do it again. Otherwise they've ****ed something up fitting it, play in the input shaft wouldn't cause this and any issue would be present in all gears not just one.

Chees for the advise guys,

Think they just trying to get more money out of me saying the g/box would need to be striped ect.

Thank you again will get it all bled again.
