Air con compressor clutch

I've searched through but can't find anything relating to replacement of the Air Con clutch, can it be replaced? If so how difficult is it, if not, is it a replacement Compressor?

How difficult is a replacement compressor to fit?

mine had simillar problem and the compressor had to be replaced.

Did you fit the compressor yourself?

Take it to a specialist, don't try to do it yourself.

all was done under warranty buddy, new compressor & fitting from audi is 600 quid.

The compressors are clutchless AFAIK. You can buy new OEM units on eBay for £300 odd quid.

Just recently replaced my compressor, local garage could source a recon unit for £250 excl VAT. Managed to find one on Eurocarparts for £170 incl postage. Had it fitted for about £90. Air con is now ice cold! Heres a link to the same part if you need it, might have to put your reg in but should be similar hopefully! Way cheaper than going to Audi and the garage themselves told me that's a cracking price and to just buy it straight away ha!
