S-Tronic & APR/Revo Stage 3 Question

Hi all, new here so go easy haha!

Recently purchased a 2010 8P S3 with S-Tronic and going straight to Stage 2+

But what I'm wondering is once I go to Stage 3 with new Turbo etc will the S-Tronic be able to handle say 430hp? If not, what would I be looking to upgrade?

Hi Liam.

The general view seems to be that if you dont exceed 440lbs the box will cope with just remapping the clamping pressures.

Above that you need a new uprated clutch pack from either SSP or HPA.

If you want I can point you to someone who knows all about high torque conversions on the DSG.

I had clutch packs changed on my a3 stronic 09 and costed $2500AUD.
