1.9 tdi Auto box issue

Morning all,

Struggling with the search function and cannot find any info on replacing a clutch on an auto box?

Would take the whole engine out for ease of working on the gearbox.

Will a LUK from ECP or GSF do the trick

Clutch/auto box? Which is it? If you have an Auto there's no clutch. Someone pulling your leg

Wow that's my lack of car knowledge, what I am finding is when waiting at a junction with drive engaged I can hear a fairly high pitched spinning noise that doesn't sound healthy. As my knowledge is based around 1.3 8v engines it sounds like the noise of a clutch release bearing.

as above an auto doesnt have a clutch. it has a torque converter.
I cant see this being the source of the noise though.
