If this is the wrong forum, I apologise.

I have a SPS switch and it works fine with my desktop pc but not with my laptop. I get "Please check USB connection to Revo device".
Uninstalled, re-installed, tried all the usb's etc

I only need the laptop working to acquire my ecu setting.

Desktop Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit
Laptop Windows 8.1 64bit

It's driving me mad.

Have you checked in the Device manager that it has been installed correctly?

I think randomly the SPS installs as a human input device or similar.

Did you buy it new? If so email Revo, they are usually very helpful.

Bought it "as new" but not off a Revo dealer. That's why I haven't emailed them.
I have checked the setting in both the laptop and desktop and they are the same.

Yeah, it's definitely computer based. I've connected the switch to my wife's laptop and it connects to the switch
BUT
I have a new problem. when I press acquire I get a timed out message.
I've tried pulling the instrument switch but it still doesn't connect.
I know what setting it should have on boost and timing but would like to check.
Can anyone confirm that the fuel setting don't matter and cant be changed on an AUM (read somewhere)

The fuel setting can't be changed on yours, only boost and timing.

Got the switch in position 0 when trying to retrieve settings?
