So I had a clutch and flywheel replacement done 4 weeks ago and then when it rolled the garage, it developed this loud vibrating noise. However this noise becomes present between 1100-1300 RPM, peaking worst at 1200 RPM.....then silent throughout the rest of the revs above and below.
So the garage took the car back in, the flywheel and clutch were replaced under warranty and then they advised that the sandwich plate was buckled and had been previously fitted badly. This is what they suggested was banging off the flywheel causing the vibrating noises......
Now get the car back and it is STILL making the same horrendous vibrating noise at the 1100-1300 RMP. This happens when in gear, out of gear and free revving. I've noticed that the vibrating noise gets louder when the car gets warmer.
The car is going back into the garage again tomorrow to be re-investigated.
Just wondering if any of you have any opinions on what this could be at all?
