For whatever reason the pictures are displaying horizontally.

After having removed the under tray for an oil change, i have noticed an oily build-up around 2 pipes going towards the radiator.
Has anyone got any idea what causes that and needs to be done about it?

Thanks in advance

Intercooler O-rings are prone to going, no oil should be in the rad...you'd have mayo in the cap if so.

Is that a simple matter of just getting new o-ring, cleaning the area and replacing them.

Is that the part 8A in the picture?

I have read that if there is that much oil in this area, it could be related to a turbo problem (it is whining like a siren!)
Is this true?

Just a clean up and o ring replacement is fine.

Regardless of turbo problems these always go.

Your whine/siren problem does mean you need a new one.

You'll generate an overboost fault code eventually I'd have thought. You'll visit limp mode and get an engine warning light.

Some last forever making the noise. Some don't. Turbo lottery.
