Hi
I've looked in the garage, and as expected, the fuel filter hasnt fitted itself :)
Apart from the safety aspect, do you think it possible to change the fuel filter using the little jack that comes with the car? Biggest issue i can see is that the jack will be in the way, and the jack might not go high enough. I havent changed one before.
Thanks,
Dave

if you jack the car so that the drivers side rear wheel is off the floor then you should easily have enough room to swap out the fuel filter

Yep, you should have enough room with the oem jack, but do yourself a favour and put an axle stand under there just in case.

At the very least, remove the rear wheel and put that under the car.

But, and trying not to sound like a health and safety wuss, do not put yourself under a car that is supported only by the wheel jack. If the car slips off, or the jack fails, it will probably kill you....

A pair of axle stands aren't costly, I got a set from Lidl for fifteen quid (TUV approved too!), it's just not worth the risk.
