Well, my mrs is!

Got her a 09 sportback a3 1.4 TFSI Sport 125bhp.

Personally, im not a fan of german cars, but it is nice!

I used to have a Type-R, now drive a VW Fox as a little run around.

Few things id like to know:

What chassis is the a3?
I dont have any cup holders in the a3???
I really want xenons, but legal. I have read many threads about wiper motors and mot etc...whats is the best option here? OEM Xenons keep coming up?
The dealer told me the a3 has a chain instead of a belt?
How much does a full service cost at audi?
Anything i need to check mechanically?
Im also interested in removing the standard head unit and installing a kenwood double din. Do you have to remove the whole dash to do this? (I did on my type-r).

I spoke to Audi yesterday about a car I was interested in.

They said if the engine has a 4 character code then it has a Timing Chain and that the timing chain they do not change. Though all diesels and 3 character engine codes have a timing belt and that needs changing at the recommended 75k intervals.

The car is an 8P chassis....

Cup holders can be retrofitted in place of the card slot... Plenty of threads on here on how to do it

double din head unit can be removed with 4 keys... You can buy them from ebay for much cheapness and its a 5 minute job to remove the stock unit
