Rs3 gearbox problem!

I've had my rs3 a few days nw but I hardly drive my gearbox is playing up it is not selecting 3rd gear the engine light has come on someone plz help me

Just take it in to audi as its under warranty, diagnosing with vcds is pointless if its under 3 years old.

The code is something to do with gearbox valve any idea what that is or who can fix?

Ah that's a problem, then vcds is handy to help diagnose.

I have had the code checked the guy told me the valve for the box no good. Who can fix this for me is it a major job?

I'd bet a dealer could fix it.
