No power to passenger door

Hi,

I seem to have no power going to the passenger side door of my A3 2.0T Sportback 8P 2005.

The window switch, and both lights (puddle and red side light) and the door handle light have no power going to them. Bulbs checked and all is ok.

I have checked the fuses, which seem fine.

The sensor is working for when the door is open/closed and the central locking works also.

I have had the door open (panel taken off) and all wires are connected and no obvious tears/wearing/cracks.

Any ideas guys?

A break in the rubber boot between the car and door?

A break in the rubber boot between the car and door?

Not that I can see, do I need to remove the rubber boot perhaps to see inside if there is a broken wire? If so, how do I remove the rubber boot?
