A4 2.5 Q Max towing weight

Hi,

Does anyone have their owners manual to hand or know off the top of their head what the max braked towing weight is for a Avant 2.5Q please?

Looking at upgrading our caravan early next year but we'd like a bigger 'van but also I don't want it to be at the top end of the towing weight limit.

My B7 3.OTDI Quattro says 750KG if that is any help.

750kg? That must be for unbaked trailer is it?! Its low for a braked trailer.

I think it's about 1800 kgs with brakes. 750 kgs applies to all unbraked trailers.

2000kg? Wow, that's better than I expected if its correct for my 2.5Q. That would give us loads of scope.

I'm sure with the 2.5 being heavier it is 1800 kg. it's a combination of kerb weight and trailer weight added together.

Think yours may be 1800kg looking at a few sites, how ever the combination of weights make no difference only to which licence you have "date you passed"

I have BE on my licence so I'm OK in that aspect.
