Air filter noise

Any ideas pls on how to make my car grunt with the dump vavle noise.
On my 1.8t golf and cupra r I just put a cone filter on and it made a nice tone.
Ive tryed one on the a4 and sounds nothing like they did

bit confused as its same engine

Check that your DV is working properly. I fitted a cone to my 1.8T sport A4 B5 some years ago and you could hear the DV valve operating.

So could be a faulty DV valve. IIRC it's easily accessible on the 1.8T.
