Facelift headlights - rough price anyone?

Looking facelight headlights for A3 8L. Can someone advise me on how much I should expect to pay new & second-hand? Many thanks.

Get some a3 lights for £80 off eBay and Stick some HID's in!

Gops does it matter if there halogen or projector headlights to fit a HID kit?

Must be facelift projector lens, which came with halogen bulbs in. My lights are a3 projectors with 55w 6000k HID's. they look more like 5000k but impressively bright! That's the cheapest and best bet really..

Was talking to t8ups about this a few days ago. The halogen projector is an open shroud so doesnt direct as much light through it. The xenon projectors are closed shrouds so more light hits the lense. At least thats how i understood it. I did manage to pick up a pair of facelifts from the scrappy for 50 quid though!

Your right Tom, but the price of xenon units isn't really worth it! If you can get them at a bargain then that's good, but 9/10 they're ****** expensive

Thanks Gops. These look great and would be delighted with those. Were they easy to fit? Need to cut body work right? Need adapter cable too? Is there any reason not to go for the xenon projectors that @udi A3 mentions? Apart from price?
