does the stud need to be replaced on the tensioner?....ive replaced the nut,but there actual stud that go's through the cambelt tensioner then into the engine block, then the nut fits on the end,the stud looks like this(similar) https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=au...2F;600;450 stud is black and threaded both ends

I replaced the stud 500 miles ago,it came with genuine kit,i torqued up the nut, which fits onto the stud 20nm+45 degrees.....but since fitting ive torqued it 3 times. I have however renewed the nut that fits the stud 3 days ago.

first mistake i made was,i tensioned it when engine was warm, then i re-did it again next day..........and 3 days ago i had to tension the belt again(me not paying attention:keule: ) i didnt use the proper tool to counterhold the upper sprocket which tensions the top part of the belt.

Basically ive torqued it 3 times but the last time renewed the nut.........has the stud got be re-newed?
