Hey

I put coilovers on my car and came across every problem known to man after fitting such as the arb rubbing etc...after spending a few hours fitting them i went out to enjoy the fruits of my labour, and instantly noticed the smell of rubber! So I drove back to have a look and noticed the tyres were rubbing on the adjuster ring and springs.... So I did some research and read that 5mm spacers will be enough clearance.... so i went out and brought some 5mm spacers. Fitted these spacers and there was loads of clearance! so i thought the problem was solved....went out and brought new tyres and they rub :( don't rub now as they've made enough of a clearance for themselves....but my mot is due in a few months and rather sort this now instead of a day before the mot...so just wondering should I put bigger spacers on? 10mm, 15mm, 20mm? Smaller profile etc.... There also o.e alloys on 205/50/16

cheers
