Recently my mechanic brother replaced my Cambelt and water pump on the S3. All successful started the car while still on the ramp getting the car to temperature making sure everything was ok and noticed a slight leak dripping from somewhere? literally a dribble... Located the dribble and got the air compressor gun to blow away some corrosion/dirt around the leak to see where it was coming from...as soon as the air compressor was used it instantly blew water everywhere like a high pressure hose!! until the car emptied the full system of coolant and filled the garage with steam. So £110 for the following replacement metal hose part and taking half the engine apart to get the thing out to reveal badly corroded pipe work just as well it happened on the ramp.

Some pictures.
