Having a few running probs with the car, did some 3rd gear logs today, I see there is some timing pull but only on one cylinder? Im running a Revo stg 2 map on my AUQ. The MAF readings seem a little low for stage 2? Can anyone give me any feedback good or bad? Ive reset the fuel trims not too long ago and car seems to run much smoother after resetting them dont know if this is a clue? Any help much appreciated.

Everything looks ok to me. Airflow is a little low like you say. But the CF isnt worryingly high. And inlet temps are nice. 1.4 bar boost is modest aswell i think for ko3 cars.

Having said that 178g/s is a respectable 220 odd hp. Obv tuners are getting alot more nowadays but that used to be expected from a stage 2.

Thanks for the reply Karl. Just wondered why CF's were only on the one cylinder? So N75 duty cycle is ok? Car does seem to drive nice on WOT its seems more part throttle or coming on boost that its a bit rough. Any more comments welcomed

CF's on cylinder 4 which is where the coolant will be hottest... coolant flow is from cyl 1 to cyl 4 exiting out the side of the head... cyl 4 typically shows timing pull before other cylinders... its normal

Thanks tuffty, think im just hoping to find something that will explain whats happening lol. Why would it be that the car runs better when fuel trims have been reset? Also is there any other tests i can do with VCDS to give the car like a health check?

Where there any faults codes and what is block 032 reporting?

The only code i have is for the SAI which i have removed. Before resetting they were on 1.2 Idle and -6.3 Multi. At the mo they are at 0.8 idle and -2.3 multi

-6.3 suggests its pulling fuel which might also suggest you may have a boost leak... short term trims would go positive if it was a large enough vacuum leak... whats the history of the MAF sensor?

Ive boost leak tested a few times and cant hear any leaks. Could do with smoke testing really. If there is a leak it must be very small. I replaced Maf around 12months ago for a new genuine part. I cleaned the sensor just before doing the logs. Do the logs not tell the full story when it comes to the MAF? Drove the car a bit today and hasnt really faulted up yet. Im guessing once the fuel trims start to learn it will be back to its old self :-(

Fuel trims are there to help rather than hinder... Bosch designed tolerance into the ECU (+/-25%) to account for small issues such as leaks etc...

Smoke test will help for sure... systematically go around the charge system tightening up the clips too... OE clips are a bit fragile mind so be careful...

Yes will try and find someone who can smoke test. Most of hoses are silicone, have also changed the metal/rubber charge pipe hose to an AGU one so think thats ok. Also deleted most of the emisions stuiff and also have catch can. I hoped this would simplify things and cause less issues lol.Could it be my lambda sensors failing?
