ESP light staying on, 1.8t

Ok, so pulled away from a roundabout, fairly enthusiastically, second gear approached 6k revs and bang, felt like it hit a hard limiter. ESP light came on and now stays on.

I can only think one of the front wheels went over a manhole cover and spun up.

Any Ideas?

Could be MAF fault, you need to do a scan.

Ok cheers. Won't be able to get it scanned until monday

****** hell you guys are good!
Local garage was open this morning and popped him on the diagnostic doofer. Sure enough MAF fault, which when cleared came straight back.

Worryingly though brake load signal warning and then some numbers came up...

Will get a MAF from ECP now and hopefully all solved.

I would get a MAF from audi personally

Only get a genuine maf mate, not sure if ecp can supply them? At audi you will have to exchange your old one or pay a surcharge.

Got a Bosch one from Ecp. Fitted it and good as new, lights lights gone out too without a re scan which is a bonus. Just need to take the old one back for the surcharge.
