Does anyone have the correct label file for a 1.8T BEX? My B6 A4 S-line's engine controller is reported as:
8E0 909 518 AS
-though I'm getting a redirection fail. I understand it's possible to edit the 8E-01 redirection file in the VCDS labels folder, but looking at it I see there is already text in there relating to my module, which is:
REDIRECT,06B-906-018-AVJ.LBL,8E0-909-518-AS ; BEX (8E)
I don't have a 06B-906-018.AVJ, the closest label files I have stored in the VCDS folder are 06B-906-018.AWM & 06B-906-018.AWT
I've tried downloading the latest VCDS (November 2012), but neither of those files are included. I don't currently have any label files ending BEX, or starting with 8E0-909, and the only two files I have starting with 06B-906 are the files above.
Is it OK to edit the 8E-01 to redirect to either the AWM or AWT file? How close are these to BEX?
