6 stack cd player in glovebox problems

My CD player stopped working the other day, it sounds like it is a mechanical fault. Disc 4 is trying to get ejected and it just keeps trying to eject, but nothing happens. I tried to eject some of the other discs to see whether there was just a problem with disc 4 but was met with the same symptoms. Eventually there is an error on the cd player and the process stops.

Has anyone else had similar problems? and how easy are these cd players to remove? i noticed two slots at the bottom and wondered if they are used to remove the 6 stack...

You need two VAG audio removal tools (you can get them from Halfrauds), slide them into the slots until you feel the catches release and then the CD changer will just pull out.

It sounds like one of the CDs has jammed, is it a copy (they are often thicker and/or have a sticky label)?
