I bought my A3 a few months ago. i now need to take out the radio but the card is missing with the information on it.

Audi want me to bring the car in and pay £20 for a new one!!

Is there any way i can find mine out or pay someone to provide me with mine?

£20 isn't to bad to be honest. At least you know it'll work as well.

Have you had a look in your service book or hand book to see if someones put it in there. They don't normally supply them nowadays so you'd be lucky if they have.

It should have convenience coding, if you take the radio out then put it back into your car the radio will recognise it belongs to your car. You only need the code if it's going into another car.

Sometimes they do act up & require a code, even if they have been plugged back into the same vin as last used on & as said above £20 is a good price.
