Air Bag Light

Hi does anyone know if you can turn off an airbag light without fixing the fault? It has been diagnosed as the passengers ignitor but audi want £700 for a new airbag.

I've had the air bag light on for a while too.

Been told its a sensor under the passenger seat that needs securing but hasn't worked for me.

you cant turn the bag light off unless the fault is fixed
it could be the wireing inder the seat common on the A4 and A3.
