Hello

New to this forum...bought my first Audi on Monday!

I got a 2009 S3 with the 2010 Audi Navigation plus system installed. This one has the Media button instead of CD/DVD. I have an Auxiliary port that i want to plug my phone into, however there is no button on the system to be able to select auxiliary input! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Hi welcome aboard.

Have you tried the Media button? It should be listed in there once the device is connected and switched on I think.

PS. Get some pics of your S3 up on here, we love photos! :)

Hi

Thanks for such a quick response!

I tried the media button and all the options i have are:

CD 1-6 input (Ipod Dock)
SD Cards 1-2
Sat Nav input

I played a song through the aux and played around with every button...no joy!

I will put some pics up tonight:)

Sounds like the Nav unit hasn't been programmed to know that it has an aux port connected. If you have the 2010 nav then you can fit the audi music interface and control your ipod directly from the screen

Wow that sounds pretty good, how much could i pick up one of those for approx?

Probably around £400-500 including fitting. NHN on here is your man for these installs - he did my AMI (Audi Music Interface) amongst other things. Send him a Private Message and he'll help you out and will even get your AUX working as well.
