Hi everyone,
Im planning on putting a 2.75" Milltek turbo back on my 57plate S3.
its going to be a decat down pipe though (for track...obviously :))
I was wondering if this would bring up engine mannagement lights or put the car in limp mode before i go to get the car mapped for the exhaust.
Can anyone enlighten me please...

S2/S2+ software will remove the light

I knew a map would remove the lights but would using the exhaust without having it mapped dammage the car in any way? Or cause it to do into limp mode?

literally only causes a light to come on and even then it may not come on immediately, mine came and went before the remap.

I had mine on for at least a month, no problem.

Dont know anyone on here thats gone into LIMP mode because of an exhaust change.

And no, it wont damage the car, if anything it will make it run much better and rev more freely!

I did ask the same question ages ago so i wouldnt worry.

'just do it' :)

What about the exhaust valve at the back? Is the pipework to the actuator just left? I haven't followed it back to where it's fed from, is it just operated by back pressure anyway?

i dont remember any pipework as such to disconnect for it.

ive got it in my garage gathering dust......my standard exhaust has only done 1,000 miles since new, ill have a look tomorrow when i next venture out....
