A4 Avant 2.0TFSI Quattro SE S line - Lowering and wheel sizes

Hi guys,

I would like to lower the A4 without going to the extent of putting coilovers on it.

The car has already a bit of a hard ride, perhaps being an S Line may have different sportier shocks or so, wtih the 18" DTM alloys.

I would like to do springs, but not to slam the car.

I would like to put 19's on, how wide can i go and how low on these.

i've got mine lowered on coilovers and i'd say the ride is no worse than the original s line suspension so i can imagine if you get decent springs it'll probably be more comfortable, my wheels are 19x8 running 215/35/19 tyres with 20mm spacers which bring total ET to 36, here a pic, hope this helps,
