hi all,

just wondering if the new dvd version of satnav plus can play dvds easily?

iv heard u can get a dvd autochanger. do u need a tv tuner or any other adapter or do u just need the dvd autochanger?

Just the changer apparently, but Ps2 and Dietz 1417 adpater is the way to go for me!

You WILL need an adapter for running any video into the nav system UNLESS you have a TV tuner fitted already. None of the Nav systems play DVD's.
My Dietz is on its way fro, Germany...
I too will potentially run a PS2 in the glovebox for DVD if needed. Just need to drop 12 v to 8.5 volts to run the PS2.

should get the adaptor in a week or so

£110 if you have the tv tuner and £198 or soemthing if you dont have the tuner..

all you then have to do is plug a dvd player to it..

the signal is 100% clear with no crackles so ive been told.

The adapter if you DO have the tv tuner is only about £25, but it ends up in the boot.
All my kit has now arrived (per my other thread). I also found a power supply drop down from 12v to 8.5v for the ps two on ebay at £35 but have not bought that yet; one step at a time!
