Rear driver side door not opening...

Hey y'all,

I have recently purchased an A4 Avant 1.8t (190) 2003, one slight issue, my driver side rear passenger door will not open, from inside and out. Just curious if anyone has experienced this before and know of any tricks? or is it a trip to the garage for an expensive job? Someone did mention about a door card? I am a huge newbie and not too hot on cars...

Any help would be appreciated!

I had this on my wife's Vw sharan the back passenger door wouldn't open.

Basically the cause of my problem was when the car door was shut and the car locked the dead locks locked. There was a broken wire in the loom between the door and the pillar so the next time I unlocked the car the door lock wouldn't unlock.

I took the car to a auto spark and £30 later door working.

Yeah my guess would be electrical too, auto spark would be my first stop.
