Fault with EVAP valve(N80) on 1.6l engine

Hi all,

I've a problem with 1997 A3 with 1.6l engine. Fault code:

01247 - activated charcoal filter (EVAP) system solenoid valve 1(n80)
26-00 - Output Open

Can anybody tell me where is this valve located? If anybody has an idea, what could be the exact problem can point it out. ​

This is a new A3 1.6, but should be in roughly the same place....

Yes, found it today morning. Cable was disconnected... Can somebody tell me how to remove it? It fits straight on the canister. Don't like to twist before I know the exact way how to remove it.
