I see that the new door handle for the driver side comes with built in key hole. Will this fit on the older 2006 car? Key hole can be swapped over direct?

It will fit but you will need to change all the door handle covers to 2012 versions as the new versions Have an indented line running on the top part of them which the old ones don't so it won't look right if you don't change them all

The actual door handle itself, not the front plate also changed to allow fitment of this plate, so afaik, no it wont fit without changing more than this, my research showed it woul cost a fair bit to do each door.
