Instrument clocks work up normal

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a3 1.8t 2001 year?
I need to see where wires go to, from the instrument sockets.

The temp & fuel clocks behave up normal until I move the blue socket, then the clocks work ok for couple of days.
I took the socket apart and found some of the wire ends that connect to the pins are not stript so there is no proper connection.
Is that normal?
Has anyone had this problem?

None of the wires are stripped. They are a push fit connection (much like a scotchlock), so only 2 small points of contact as you look at the plug.

On my car some are striped and crimped on the contact point. From what you saying is that all the wires on the plug should be making contact, is that correct?

So could it be that one or more are not connecting correctly?
Since when I move the plug all works normally for a while? Has anyone had this problem?
