Tuning a 1.6 litre A3 2004 (8P)

Hey,

did anyone ever heard about tuning the 1.6 litre engine found in A3 2004 (8P)? I heard someone mention that it may be possible to add a compresser?

Word of advice...dont bother. Sorry to be blunt but it will be throwing money away!

Rich is right, the easiest way to make a 2.0 8v go faster is drive it off a cliff, so best not bother really, unless you want to spend HUGE amounts of money.

Best use the additional you would spend and trade it for a 1.8T.

We get Mk4 Golf GTi 2.0 8v owners asking this all the time, it's a shame to see them cry, but if they buy the wrong car in the first place.......then they realise why the car was so cheap.
