What is this Warning light

Twice this light has come up this evening. Start the car, get the ok message in the centre console, then after driving for 5min I get a yellow (O) symbol, with the outer () broken. What does this mean. I cant find it in the manual.

looks like your bulb warning light, mine does the same. im sure its referring to the rear lights if im not mistaken.

Could well be the front pads, just waiting on a set of LCR brembos.

Front pads is a red warning light
Think mo s3 is right bulb warning light

Just went for a quick spin, no warning light this time. All the lights are working, I know the breaks will need replacing in maybe another 1000miles or so there is still a fair bit of meat on them. So what is it.

Worth doing a visual inspection of the front pads as the sensor can play up.

Plus if they have aftermarket pads in with no sensor, it will have been bridged to keep the light off, and may have come loose..

it is probably the brake pad wear sensor wire coming loose or shorting out, happens a lot, shouldnt worry about it if the brakes look/feel ok

The brake pad warning sensor is fitted to the passenger side front, inner pad only. Save you looking for it all the way round the car lol.
